Volunteer Opportunities
In the heart of Columbus, Ohio, the beautiful Washington Gladden Social Justice Park is dedicated to presenting exhibits and programs built around themes of social justice. The park is supported by an energetic advisory board and volunteer staff members. New volunteers are welcome and encouraged to become part of this social justice family.
Those with a passion to pursue and advance social justice in all areas are invited to contribute time and talents to this innovative park – the first of its kind in the nation. Committee members, advisory board members and regular volunteers are needed. Those with skills in communication, public relations, graphic arts, gardening, historical research, event planning, fundraising and other areas are appreciated. Any training required to help volunteers will be provided. Even if you only have a few hours every so often to contribute, you are welcome.
Interested? For more information about the park, visit the website: www.socialjusticepark.org . To become a volunteer, request a tour of the park or be added to the newsletter list, send an email to the park (under “contact” on the website) or call Park Director Tom Worley, 614-306-2116.
